About the Author
As a student in Delhi, Shomit Mitter worked extensively in the theatre running remedial drama workshops a the New Delhi Spastic School. He went on to work with a number of directors in the West, including Peter Brook whose theatre he went on to research, first at Oxford University where he completed an M.Phil and then at Cambridge University where he completed his pH.D. He now makes his home in London.
