Capcom has announced at the event X10 release date for its action Dead Rising 2, and announced a new game in the series - Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. Dead Rising 2 will be released on September 3 this year in Europe and on August 31 in North America. Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will be released even earlier - this is a small game that, according to representatives of Capcom, will link the story of the first and second parts of Dead Rising, along, and will give players the first time taste the gameplay of the sequel. However, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will be the individual project, and will not enter into Dead Rising 2.

To play in this newly announced project gamers will need an account to Xbox Live, as it will spread, apparently, only through this service. As is known, the effect of Dead Rising 2 will occur within a few years after the infamous invasion of zombies in the town of Willamette. Canada worked on the game studio Blue Castle, which helps team members that created the first part of the series.
