Series quests in the style of «point-and-click» created by Adventure Soft. The main hero of the series is titled the guy who does not want to take part in these adventures. The game created a fantasy c large dose of humor.

The first two games can be easily compared with a series of «Monkey Island» by style and humor, as well as books and games, "Discworld" by Terry Pratchett.

Simon the Sorcerer
The first game of the series was released Adventure Soft yet on Jan. 2, 1993 in the format for DOS and Amiga. The action begins with the protagonist, Simon, an ordinary teenager. His dog Chippy discovers a trunk in the attic of his house in which there is a book called "An old book of spells." Simon throws her on the floor, but above it appears portal. Dog jumps into the portal, and Simon have to jump over him.

Simon finds himself in another world. Having escaped from the wild troll, he learns that he must embark on the search wizard Calypso, who was kidnapped by the evil sorcerer Sordid.

The game includes a parody of the popular books and fairy tales, including "Rapunzel," "The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia," "Jack and the pod" and "Three goat."

In the game, Simon voiced by British actor Chris Barrie.

Simon the Sorcerer 2: The Lion, the Wizard and the Wardrobe
Sequel was released in 1995, Adventure Soft. Name game parodies the book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."

In this game Sordid returns as a spirit, which later moves into robot body when the boy's father, a peasant Ranta burn spell book and throws it into the center of the pentagram on the floor. To get back at Simon for his death, Sordid sends him a magic wardrobe, but was mistakenly cabinet Simon returns to the threshold of a magic shop Calypso. Recovering, Simon discovers that returning home, he must find a powerful energy source called mukusad (English mucusade; «mucus» - «snot").

In this game, Simon basically travels the capital city of the country, but then he has to travel far beyond it.
The game has even more adolescent humor and sexual allusions than the first.
