Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps is a World War II tactical PC game, where you can take place in the African battle manoeuvres, either by the side of the Axis, led by Rommel, or the Allies, led by Montgomery. Apart from being a well-written RTS, the game also has some RPG'ish features, such as distinctive story-lines for both sides, experience-gathering abilities for the units, or bonus points which can be exchanged for special units.

Variety of Units: More than 70 different units are available, each with its own complementary charactistics, including eight specialized soldiers (rifleman, scout, machine gunner, media, sapper, flamethrower, sniper, grenade launcher) and seven categories of vehicles (recon, tank, anti-tank artillery, anti-air artillery, transport, air support) unite to form the player's armies.

In addition, every vehicle can acquire up to three levels or experience upon successfully completing a mission. Pause feature allows players to think over their tactics at anytime and the schedule up to three orders per unit.

Deep Single player Experience: Desert Rats Vs. Afrika Korps presents an unparalleled single player experience which includes a management phase at the beginning of each mission to prepare for battle. The story-driven campaign spans 20 missions ranging from recon operations to large-scale battles for desert fortresses.

Multiplayer Gaming: Three different multi-player modes including death match and capture the flag are available via Gamespy or LAN for up to four players.

Install note
Install the game as you would any other ISO downloaded from this site and apply the crack located in the root of this torrents directory.
Commonly the installation directory for DR vs AK, is "C:\Program Files\Monte Cristo\DR vs AK"
If you are unsure of how to install an ISO and crack the game, read below;
1, The ISO, first of all you will either need to burn this to a CD or mount it to a virtual drive. For ISO burning tools, see here
2, Installing the game, Mount your ISO or put your burned copy of the game into a CD drive, the autostarter should run, but if it doesn't, navigate to "My Computer" and open the drive/CD labeled "DRVSAK" and press setup.exe
3, Follow the on-screen instructions to install the game.
4, Cracking the game, the crack for this game is in the folder labeled "Crack" in the root of this torrent. Go to where you downloaded the torrent and open the "Crack" folder.
5, Open fltdrck.rar and Copy

shortcuteditor.exe

to your installation directory, normally "C:\Program Files\Monte Cristo\DR vs AK"
6, Play the game from the shortcut on the desktop or start menu as normal.. Enjoy!
NOTE
Some have reported that once the crack has been applied, the game loads but there are no selectable menus, if you encounter this problem, just reboot your PC and try again, all should be well then
