We all know the port of Half Life 1 to the Half Life 2 Source engine was a straight port with the old graphics and models intact.
This made a better but still ugly game.



This release fixes that problem. This port does take advantage of vertex and pixel shaders for more realistic water effects,
as well as Half Life 2s realistic physics engine. They also added several other features from Half Life 2, including improved dynamic lightmaps,
vertex maps, ragdolls, and a shadowmap system with cleaner, higher resolution,
specular texture and normal maps, as well as utilization of the render to texture soft shadows found in Half Life 2s Source engine,
along with 3D skybox replacements in place of the old 16 bit color prerendered bitmap skies.
In the years since the release of Half Life Source, people have had time to make high and super high definition mod packs for the game.
I have taken the best models from these super high definition/resolution projects and compiled this Half Life Source Enhanced Edition. This means this game now Kicks Ass!
For best results use all video settings on HIGH.
Black Mesa Total Conversion is an upcoming remake of Half Life using the Half life 2 Source engine,
remade from the ground up. It will be better than this but it will only be for Steam, and it will require Half Life 2 to be installed.
Right now this is The Best way to play Half Life for those of you who do not like Steam or have Half Life 2.
Its simply the best classic Half Life you can get!
This is the Full game with an installer for setup, no messing with an ISO file.
No need to unrar just double click and Setup will run.
