Eariler Windows Dreamscene feature allow Windows Vista Ultimate User to choose any video as desktop background. It seems Microsoft decided not to include this feature in Windows 7, because of an effort to make the OS more stable and less power hungry. But people missess it all the time because of its gorgeous visual appeal. The good news is now it is possible to use dreamscene in windows 7 too.
Windows 7 DreamScene Activator by Kishan Bagaria is a free tiny portable tool that activates DreamScene in Windows 7. DreamScene is a feature that allows users to set any video in WMV/MPG format as the desktop wallpaper. It works in both 32 bit & 64 bit version.
• Run the tool as administrator. In case you get an unhandled exception error, simply click on Continue.
• Click Enable DreamScene. It will now copy the required files and add the necessary registry keys & values. Then it will restart Windows Explorer & DreamScene will be enabled.
Right-Click on any video in WMV/MPG format and select Set as desktop background. Now the selected video will be set as the desktop wallpaper.
