Femap 10.3.0 system based solver NX Nastran v8 allows: an analysis of the dynamics and strength of structures, machinery and equipment, to receive the solution of unsteady nonlinear three-dimensional problems, problems in the mechanics of composites and composite structures, construction technology and mechanics, heat transfer analysis to obtain the solution of problems gas and fluid mechanics of multi-disciplinary tasks.

Basic modules Femap with NX Nastran allow for the main types of engineering analysis, such as linear static analysis, the frequencies and modes of free vibration, buckling analysis of structures, analysis of problems of steady and unsteady heat transfer, basic features of nonlinear analysis.
