SmartSync Pro provides backup of open/in-use and locked files via Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Vista using Volume Shadow Copy service (VSS) technology.



- Control Backup Speed

Now you can specify bandwidth throttling for each profile to prevent network overload and set the maximum number of concurrently running profiles to limit CPU usage.



- Zip64 Format Support

The new compression engine supports the Zip64 zip file format allowing the creation of Zip files of practically unlimited size (no 4 GB limit). Zip files can contain any number of files (no 65535 file limit).



- Enhanced Support for Removable Media

SmartSync Pro now detects removable disks insertion automatically starts the profile. Removable disks could be identified by drive letter, drive label or even disk serial number.
