About the program: announced the release of KDE-edition distro Linux Mint 9. Linux Mint 9 KDE is available in the form of assemblies of 32-bit and 64-bit Live DVD. Based on Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, the kernel Linux 2.6.32, KDE 4.4.4, X. Org 7.5 and Amarok 2.3.0, release contains many improvements and the latest versions of open source software. Thus, the improved KDE Network Manager; 30 thousand applications are available online or through a new manager, new tool a backup with the ability to create incremental backups and the choice to copy the software or data; installer for USB, and Windows; support for 3 years.
In the release included a light distro Linux Mint, based on the desktop, LXDE, which can be used on less powerful computers.
