AVIA II - Guide to Home Theater DVD combines easy to follow tutorials and test signals for calibrating your home theater system. There are over 180 video test patterns for getting a better picture on your HDTV...from both high definition and standard definition channels. Brightness, contrast, color, tint, sharpness and your surround sound audio all need proper calibration, but professionals, like us, charge you upwards of $600 to do it for you. In less the an hour with the the AVIA Guide to Home Theater DVD you will improve your audio and/or video significantly. The key elements to this better picture quality is adjusting these settings in your HDTV's Menu system. They are: Contrast; Brightness; Color; Tint; and, Sharpness. When your HDTV was delivered these setting are always wrong and only these DVD's can put the settings correctly to give you better video. We use the AVIA II - Guide to Home Theater DVD daily in our calibration business and there is no other product that can improve your HDTV picture like these DVD's.
Avia II - Guide To Home Theater (NTSC Edition) is an all-widescreen, all-multichannel update of the classic Avia Guide to Home Theater incorporating dozens of new test patterns and audio tests signals. Avia II also retains the live tutorial and setup instructions that made its predecessor so easy to use and supplements those with information on HD technologies.
The disc is structured into multiple chapters of tutorial and setup information, followed by a chapter filled with advanced video and audio test signals. A bonus section contains a video montage of down-converted high-definition live-action material selected for critical evaluation of screen setup.
