Wake Up Sid! is kind of a coming of age movie about this guy Sid who refuses 2 grow up. Something I'm very sure a lot of d guys out there can relate 2. No matter how old u r, u definitely went thru this stage. D movie very astutely describes this stage.

D young but evidently talented director has been able 2 very efficiently portray the characters and there emotions . D movie has a lot of very touching dialogs, brilliant acting some very good music combined with some beautiful shots of d wonderful city of Mumbai. Most of d characters where well defined and d story was told very well by d débutant director. All in all it was a very well made film.

A lot of d films credit also goes 2 d 2 lead characters Ranbhir Kapoor and Konkona Sen. D 2 actors where brilliant and very sincere in depicting there respective characters, and where very convincing in showing there emotions and feelings on screen. D chemistry between d 2 characters was also mind-blowing. Till this movie i was not very sure bout Ranbhir Kapoor as an actor but with this movie he has really risen 2 d occasion nd Konkana is her usual remarkable self. Actors Anupum Kher nd Supriya Pathak were also very good as d father and mother. D talents of Rahul Khanna has again been waisted in a minuscule role, but he manages 2 make d best of what he had. Even most of d side actors manage 2 do a very commendable job.

Well d movie had a lot more going 4 it but i will now talk a bit about what went against it. D movie 2 sum extent was a bit slow and there will be a lot of people who will kind of find it a bit of a drag. D director treated d movie in a little serious and philosophical manner which not many people in d audience appreciate these days. D movie is very symbolic and one can only really appreciate it if they can strongly relate 2 what d director is trying 2 show in d movie. This is a must watch 4 everyone who is or was in d gray stage of growing from a boy 2 a man. A beautiful movie which deserves 2 be watched with an open perspective. Please check it out.
