I gave this 1/2 point for Maggie Q, the other half for having the temerity to actually complete this movie and call it The King of Fighters.

If you are KOF's Fans, you have been warned. Discard this movie out of your mind right away, and go play some KOF. Otherwise, you will find yourself raging about this movie.

If you are still curious, or have no clue what King of Fighters is; this movie is loosely based on a fighting game, the King of Fighters.

For all who have had experiences of fighting games being made into movie, you know how crappy they are. I.E. Street Fighters.

Actors - Beside Maggie Q and Will Yun Lee; the whole cast are never-seen-before actors. That being said, this is not the worst factor, probably the best.

Budget - 10 grands? I don't even know how Maggie Q is in here.

Story - I actually was excited when I got a glimpse of the story. Then it went down hill. I don't expect the movie to go hand-in-hand with the game. But keeps somethings intact at least.

Characters - Mai has A cups. Kyo is white; even though his dad, Saisyu is still Japanese. Terry is not even buff. And Rugal is just plain stupid to look at. The only character that is decently acceptable is Iori. Vice and Mature were okay too; they have big boobs.

Fighting styles - at least try to imitate the game. The most important thing in a fighting game is each character's style. This movie has none. And powers were misplaced. This is where a die-hard KOF's fan starts banging head into wall.

Action - Lots of crappy fighting, and cheap SFX. HongKong's TV series have more SFX than this movie.

And one last thing. This movie was made in Canada. I meant seriously, was this some High-school's video club's project?
