Episode 9 hones in on the most insidious of all battlefield weapons: the hidden booby traps that help turn the tide of conflict by wounding, maiming, deforming and rubbing out unsuspecting enemy soldiers. The program traces the technological development of these weapons as they have become increasingly powerful, deadly and elusive over the years.
